Job Summary:

The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will assist in the following H.R. disciplines:

  • Recruiting
  • Benefits Administration
  • Labor Relations
  • Employee Relations
  • Compliance
  • Payroll
  • New Hire Orientation
In addition to the above areas, the Human Resources Administrator will assist in creating a welcoming, upbeat and fun work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support recruiting function with parts of the recruiting process that includes: candidate screening, scheduling interviews, reserving conference rooms, and completing new hire paperwork.
  • Maintain responsibility for entry, maintenance, and integrity of data in the payroll system. *Communicate professionally, tactfully, and with the utmost diplomacy at all times, treating all employees with dignity and respect.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.
  • Human Resources related projects.

Working Relationships:

  • Consults and helps plan daily activities with General Manager; manages the activities of supervisors and staff.
  • Provides supervision, guidance and support to store staff.
  • Works with on-site jobbers and sales representatives.
  • Communicates with home office personnel.

Education and Experience:

  • High School or Equivalent (Associates degree or higher a plus).
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources and Retail experience.
