Position: Inventory Management Data Entry Analyst

Job Summary:

    Enter, maintain and retrieve Purchase Order data for database in JDA Merchandising System (PMM). Validate setup of other related information pertaining to POs: vendors, items, costs, case packs, etc. Direct interaction with buyers will be necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Gather, validate and maintain status of purchase orders within the JDA Merchandising System (PMM).
  • Validate accuracy of Purchase Order data; items, costs, case packs, vendor data, etc.
  • Work directly with Inventory Control Department to resolve PO issues on a daily and weekly basis.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Ability to multi-task with strong emphasis on priority in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Some Experience in JDA’s merchandising systems a plus
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt and change as the circumstances dictate.
  • Strong interaction with multiple departments to make for a cohesive workplace.
  • Able to travel at least 20%

Education and Experience:

  • Skills in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • High school, or GED necessary
  • Advanced education optional, but not required.
  • Previous knowledge of computerized merchandising and inventory control systems.
  • Background in a retail merchandising or purchasing environment.
  • Familiarity of alphanumerical data entry and typing.
