Job Summary:

    Provides administrative support to the Book Purchasing & Promotions Department with specific responsibilities assigned as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Data entry for purchase orders & database maintenance.
  • Purchase order creation, transmission, confirmations, and downloading.
  • General office work, including phone calls, letters, faxes & filing.
  • Data entry for monthly sales analysis.
  • Promotional billing, collections, and record-keeping.

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Ability to work well with people, especially within the office and over the phone.
  • Computer proficiency, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to execute work with speed and accuracy without close supervision.
  • Attention to detail.

    Education and Experience:

    • College degree preferred.
    • Background in Administrative work required.
    • Knowledge of the book industry preferred.
