Position: Compliance Coordinator

Job Summary:

    Support all retail locations and ensure all stores are properly licensed with the appropriate state, city, & county. Maintain company wide store listing verifying all licenses are current. Create lease abstracts for the finance department.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research state, city, and county business requirements verifying all stores are properly licensed
  • Complete and file all license forms with appropriate licensing department
  • Renew expiring licenses timely, ensuring no lapse in compliance
  • Maintain company wide store listing, verifying all new stores are licensed and notifying appropriate licensing authority of any closings
  • Monitor and update license database
  • Create lease abstracts for all current and any new leases, highlighting all financial requirements
  • Assist finance department with monthly work load and special projects

Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

  • Strong communication skills, able to interact with licensing/legal departments, store locations, and corporate officers
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work load, complete day to day activities, and handle all urgent filings or requests
  • Strong computer skills – word, excel, outlook, internet explorer, access, Great Plains

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred but not required
  • At least 2 experience in retail environment with business regulation experience a plus
